A medium was too small last year. I ordered a Large this year and it was much too large. I am sorry I can't find the right size. This is a very warm useful coat !!
This faux shearling coat looks "real" and feels light and terrific. Yesterday I was stopped by 2 other women asking me where I bought this coat. When I told them it was from LLBean and was a "fake" they said the coat looked "real" and they were going to get to a catalogue and buy one each.
I love this coat! Cozy, warm and beautiful too. I read previous reviews and ordered a medium size, I am a size 4/6, and could have gotten a small. The size difference was not enough to send it back though.
Although the reviews for this coat were mixed, I decided to try it anyway. I usually wear a size 2-4, but based on the sizing recommendations, I ordered a small. It was huge, and not fitted at all as advertised. So I ordered an extra small. Again, the coat was way too big, not fitted at all, and not flattering- made me look like I was wearing ten layers underneath. The length was fine in both coats and it seemed warm. Even though I only tried each coat on once, the zipper was difficult to manipulate, and should have started closer to the bottom of the coat as I would imagine that my legs would have been cold walking with the coat bottom flapping around. Alas, both coats had to be sent back.
