I would not recommend this coat. It was much too small and short. I ordered a petite size as I am 5'2" and it was short for me. I usually wear a size 10 or 12. I ordered a large and it was very tight. I expected something more stylish.
After reading the other reviews, I bought this coat one size bigger than normal -- mistake! So I had to buy another one in my normal size, which fits perfectly. It actually does fit very true to size, I thought. I wear the same size of this coat, as other coats.
I thought the tailoring and fit were very flattering, and it definitely kept me warm on my trip to a very cold part of the country. I bought the matching gloves and they were great, too.
I begged for this coat for Christmas and mom delivered! Gorgeous...until I tried it on. Shoulders run small. Sleeves were way too tight with just a tee shirt. Zipper was terribly hard to zip. Once zipped, I looked very pregnant! I'm not and at 115, that's not a good look. Too bad, seems super warm.
I was somewhat hesitant to order this coat after reading some of the reviews, but I liked the looks of it so well that I decided to give it a try. I'm 5'1"; weigh 115 lbs. and usually order a size small, but due to some of the reviews regarding sizing, I ordered a petite black, size medium and was more than pleased upon receipt. The color is very rich looking and the fit was perfect. I really like this coat, it's warm and comfortablet.
