I first ordered this coat in small because that is what I always wear, (5'6"/120 lbs.) and had to return it and get a medium...this coat definitely runs small. Also have an issue with the zipper as others have previously mentioned, it's gotta be lined up just right with the bottom part of the zipper that is still attached to the coat or it will not zip...gets very frustrating if you are in a hurry to get out the door. Lovin' the coat but wishing the hood was a little bigger and the zipper went up closer to the neck. Still keeping the coat even with those negatives.
Wearing the boot-length coat is a pleasure. I especially like the warmth of the material, and that the coat feels secure on my shoulders. It is my new going out coat!
I read the other reviews before I purchased one of these coats. I even left it in the box for a couple of weeks because I was afraid of being disappointed.
I did buy a large although I normally wear mediums, but also thought it would be better since I tend to bundle up in the winter anyway and would need a little extra room.
I loved the coat so much, I just bought a second one. It does require a scarf to keep your neck warm on windy days, but the coat is so warm and comfortable. It also washes well and comes out of the dryer looking like new. You can't go wrong.
I love this coat and everywhere I go I get lots of compliments on it. I bought it in black to match my boots. It fits perfect. and looks great!
It keeps me very warm. When it was delivered in the bag, it had no weight to it and I thought there is no way this would keep me warm, but I Live in MA and it's been in the low 20's and I don't feel the cold. I even have to turn off my auto heat at times.
I was hesitant to order when reading some reviews about narrow shoulder, too short and zipper problems. I'm so glad I bought this to see for myself. I have big upper arms and I like XL in tops, so I ordered the XL and at first it felt a little snug in the arms, but as I wore it the coat has stretched and fits me perfect. The length is mid calf. I"m 5'5" and I have never had any problems with the zipper. It also has a double zipper. I highly recommend buying this coat!
