I was buying my daughter-in-law a coat for frigid winters in Poland. When she fell in love with this one, even though I read the negative reviews we took a chance. It is a glamorous looking coat, I'll admit. But the pilly underside looked so old and used, AND the fabric was inadequate for anything past a NYC autumn. When I held it between my fingers it felt almost flimsy.I have owned "faux sheepskin coats" that were fine in winter; I seriously doubt that this one would be comfortable at 25 degrees, as you say. The other reviewers were right: this was clearly not worthy of an LLBean label.
This is a lovely coat. Good styling, not over done. I'm 5'8" 130 and medium fit me perfectly. Very comfortable. Might need a large if you wear really bulky sweaters. The fabric is supple and I love that I can machine wash and dry it. Cute.
The quality of this coat is not up to the traditional LLBean quality. The fit was poor. I can usually order the same size from LLBean and have the same great fit - not on this coat.
