I have had my striped(navy and plum stripe)fleece for a few months and I just love it...I am cross with myself as they went on sale a week or so ago and I could have bought another or two perhaps! It is dressy enough to take most places and the colours give a good range or selection for matching with pants! The hood is so cosy and it looks sweet on my head as well..This is a unique and nice looking fleece! More praise to L.L.Bean and its quality and smartness! I love my striped fleece!!
In January, I bought this hoodie in a size larger than my usual, so I could wear it as a jacket. I live in Vancouver, where we had a mild winter. While I wouldn't call this hoodie a winter coat, it is warm enough for quite chilly days. The lining is very soft, and the shell has a nice "pre-washed" finish that looks stylish without being scruffy. The velvet trim gives a pretty touch. The zipper is excellent. This hoodie washes well and retains its shape and size.
The color of this hoodie has a washed effect, and the minute that I put it on I knew it would be one of my favorites. It looks great with jeans and a polo or tee shirt underneath. Fits true to size. I love it!
