I have been a loyal fan for years, and I have never been disappointed by its items. However, this time I feel obligated to write a review here. I just received my Fleece-Lined Hoodie today, bought two last week (pink & navy, both with white stripes) at the special sale for $19.99 each! The pink one arrived today, OMG!!! Don't mean to be dramatic, but I was just sooo thrilled! It is even better than I expected! It is so soft, color is vibrant, the lining is super pretty and warm, everything the item description mentioned, but much more! I've seen similar items in various brands, but not nearly the quality and much more expensive. If I could, I would buy one in every color it comes with, cos it could be sooooo practical, yet so pretty for a day out. Must buy, ladies, you will NOT regret! Thanks LLBean.......
This is a very heavy weight jacket, I'm sure I'll be wearing it into early winter! I am 5'4 and 140lbs, I have the large and it is roomy. I think I could have gotten the medium but I haven't washed it and I don't know what all I'll be wearing under it. It's not huge, so I'm keeping the Lg. If you liked your clothes on the fitted side I'd recommend going down a size . (LOVE IT!)
There is no question that the inside fleece is REALLY soft and feels wonderful. However, this did not fit well on me, and I'm guessing it had to do with the fleece being so bulky. This is NOT a polarfleece lining. It just bulked up and I never felt comfortable in it. The pink is REALLY pink!
I bought this hoodie to take with me on a cruise to Alaska over the 4th of July. I loved it except I wish the hood tied or could be drawn tight. When I got home I washed the hoodie for the first time and all of the stitching in the center of the hood came open. I'm going to try again though since it was so comfy and warm -- I've returned it and requested same color, same size. We'll see if I got a lemon the first time. If the new one holds up I'd rate it four stars!
