From its funky faux bunny-fur lining to its ever so soft sueded exterior this is a winning hoodie! Haven't as yet worn it outdoors, but since it arrived a couple of weeks ago I've been able to turn the thermostat down 3-4 degrees even on days when it's a windy sub-zero outside. Keeps me pleasantly cozy: not too warm, not too cold, just right!
Runs generously true to size. I'm 5'5", 145 lbs., with an athletic (& busty) build, wear size Large (& sometimes LLB Extra Lg.) jackets & coats, yet the Large Fleecelined Hoodie is roomy -- could wear at least two layers underneath, but a long-sleeved tee is just perfect.
Haven't worn horizontal stripes since I was in elementary school -- in fact, have avoided them with a shudder & a "oh-no-definitely-NOT-for-me!" -- but took a chance on the navy with green...and it was love at first sight! In fact, contrary to my old fears, it's actually slimming!!!
I had to order a bigger size so I could wear more than a T shirt under it. No problem there, easy exchange (except out of my color choice then.) I had already 'upped' my size from my LLB shirt size 1 level so I could use it as outerwear and not feel constricted. Had to go up another size from there!
I am returning it, bc it doesn't have hood strings. It is such a warm cozy hoodie inside, but doesn't keep head & neck warm. I ended up wearing a lightweight scarf with it to keep neck closed/covered, & help hood stay up!
I also disliked the ribbed cuffs @ sleeve--not nearly 'clingy' enough..just kind of loose and sloppy. Going up 2 sizes from my LLB shirt size probably didn't help w/this loose and sloppy arm/sleeve issue, but tight cuffs would have helped.
Nice hoodie, loved the fleece (sooo soft!) & the zippered pockets were nice too. My hope is next year it will be offered w/better cuffs and a string in the hood.
This hoodie lost a couple of stars for one specific reason: somewhat surprisingly flimsy for a sweatshirt. Yes, the inside fleece is really soft and pleasant to wear, but the elastic band to the wrists and the waist is too big, making the whole sweater actually look too big when in fact it isn't. I'm very surprised to see so many people happy with their purchase. If it weren't for this issue, and for the fact that the sleeves were quite long, it would be a good looking sweater to wear. I ended up returning it.
