I purchased one of these fleece lined hoodies for myself and before I even got it delivered in the mail my daughter in law asked for one for Christmas. We exchanged our gifts tonight and she put it on and hasn't taken it off yet. She keeps raving about how soft and warm and comfortable it is. All I can say is that I agree. However, the one thing that I found was that it runs a little snug if you wear anything more than a t-shirt w/it. I ordered a larger size for me and gave her mine as she wanted one the same color.
This is my first time shopping on L.L.Bean and before ordering this fleece online I have read most of the reviews and it seemed everybody had and has a problem in sizing... I am 5'5" and 135 and wear Small or Medium depends on a brand (90% of the time it is Small). So, believing the reviews I have ordered this fleece 2 sizes bigger-LG. Few days ago I got my package and thought it would fit me perfectly. I didn't even have to try it on to tell right away that it will be too big on me. It was huge on me...I should have ordered Medium or even a Small size! But believing the reviews I did what I thought would be the best thing to do and not going by the sizing chart. New buyers please go by the CHART size and not the words on here. L.L.Bean size chart is true to it is size! So I had to call them up and order another one in a Pool Blue in Medium (LG is a Pacific Blue). I like my outrewear in size Medium. I will keep LG size to wear it around the house though.
I LOVE these super soft hoodies! They are my new standard of comfy luxury. This is my second one and I'll order more. I like outwear a little more roomy so ordered up a size but they're so true to size I could've ordered my standard small for a more fitted look (and will next time) but the medium works too, esp for long sleeves underneath.
Bought this in L Pink Peony for my sis-in-law, who's a tall girl. She loved it! It's dressier than a regular hoodie, can wear with slacks or jeans. It was not a huge large (she has long arms, and the cuffs just touched the end of her wrist) so hoping doesn't shrink in wash.
