The fleece-lined hoodie is so warm and really SOFT!!! It's just right for late winter and cool spring days. Can't believe how comfortable it is. I got the cream which goes with everything, but I plan to get more colors.
I love the design of this jacket. The medium size is just right for me. If LLbean offer more sizes to choice, for example petite size or woman size, that will be even better.
I bought this sweatshirt in the fall, and have been wearing it regularly since. It lasts well through washings -- the color hasn't faded and the fleece lining is still in great shape!
It seems to me that a lot of people buy this product as a jacket and are disappointed when it doesn't layer well over sweaters and other heavy layers. But I've found that it works great as a jacket in the cooler weather (fall and spring), but in the colder winter months, I wore it as an extra layer underneath my winter jackets, and it worked great! The fitted seams allow you to wear it under other jackets, and you can leave the hood outside the outer layer and still use it.
I bought it in Medium and it's slightly big, but that's how I like my sweatshirts to fit. I could have worn the small, and I'm 5'2", 130 pounds. But that's keeping in mind that I won't be layering it over anything heavy.
Overall, I love this sweatshirt. I bought in light green and get compliments on it all the time. It would make a great gift, as well.
I saw this hoodie on the back of the catalogue and ordered one in peony after some trepidation. I am reluctant to order clothing online as I am often a funky size. I was very pleased when it arrived (even though it was a brighter pink than I thought it might be, and I blame that on my monitor settings.) It is so soft, and so comfortable, I am so happy with this purchase. It is not a tight fight, but not too bulky either. I wear it all the time and it washes well. I did read one review that mentioned the fit of the sleeve and that they wished it was looser and easier to push up the arm. I agree with said reviewer but I'm also fine with it the way it is, less cold air up my arms! All in all, this hoodie is my new favorite everyday outerwear and I'm even ordering a second and third in frosty lime and chocolate.
