It is a nice looking jacket good enough to wear around a town for casual outings. I wore it every day around the house throughout the winter except when it was in the washer and it kept me warm. It does seem to attract dirt quite easily but at the same time it launders very well. I wish the sleeves had extra room so that I could push up. Also wish they came in heather gray and the beautiful deep colors offered in the men's hoodies.
LL Bean has gotten away from uniform sizing in their clothes. I used to buy any item at different times and was always assured of the proper fit. not any more! Also, LLBean has gotten into the "skimpy" fad for clothes. The "fitted" may be fine for the skinny teen agers, but not at all practical or comfortable for mature women. I am switching to another company.
