Based on the reviews I read about this jacket I ordered two of them. I ordered a size larger as advised (they were right) and wear them all the time. Inside when it is chilly and outside when the weather isn't cold enough for a parka but too cold for a sweater. Highly recommend them to all.
This hoodie was a lot heavier than I expected, but so soft and comfy. I would recommend ordering a size up if you want to layer, as it was cut a little small, especially in the arms.
I just received my 2nd fleece hoodie. I bought my first one about 4 months ago and after maybe 5 washings, the hood had oddly shrunk to only cover the back 3/4 of my head. So I returned it and decided to go up a size as well, just in case. The new one has only been washed once so far, but the hood still fits!
Many people wrote reviews stating things such as the cuffs were too wide and sleeves too narrow - I'd say they are maybe a bit wide and a bit narrow, but not horribly. With the wide cuffs, I can easily tuck the cuffs of my mittens in to keep warmer (I wore the hoodie as a late fall jacket alot). The sleeves seem fine if wearing a normal shirt/sweater underneath. You may be uncomfortable wearing a heavy sweatshirt underneath, but if it's cold enough to be wearing two sweatshirts, put on a winter jacket!
I really like my hoodie. There are days that I just don't take it off. It keeps me very warm and cozy. My husband occasionally jokes that he'll have to tear it off me because I wear it so much.
