after reading every one of the product reviews, I decided to go up to large.I'm usually a petite small but find Beans garments to run small for me. I like tops that hit below the hips, this worked out fine for me. The sleeves were a little long, so I cuff them. I had hoped to wear this inside/outside but the major flaw in design leaves you with a hood that cannot be cinched. A simple drawstring would keep the wind and cold out. LLBean take notice the item is called a HOODIE, if it isn't functional you just have a very high priced sweatshirt. Would have returned it for this reason but, it is heaven to wear around the house. If they redesign to include a drawstring hood, I would buy more. Definitely would recommend to friends IF they only want to wear around the house.
This is one of the sofest garments I have ever owned. But the fit is definitely slightly fitted. Unless you are a trim size, I would recommend going a size larger if you want to be able to wear this over anything other than a fitted t-shirt.
I was pleasantly suprised with the quality of the hoodie. It was very soft and comfortable, the lining nice and warm. I was so pleased, I ordered another in a different color.
