This hoodie feels like an old, soft, perfectly worn in piece right away, yet looks very nice. The blue is a slightly grayed out shade that will fade with grace and look terrific into old age. The fleece looks flat and I wondered if it would be very warm, but indeed it was. I love the hood portion being fleece lined as it is much warmer than any other hoodies I have.
Overall another excellent garment in my ever expanding collection of LL Bean clothing.
I see that other reviewers mention the small sizing of this garment. The fabric, inside and out, is wonderfully soft and warm and I loved the color choices. I also loved the little touches like the velvet zipper pulls. However - the woman who wears this jacket must be very slender through the torso and waist. The seaming makes this garment cling to the midriff - very unflattering!
I purchase this hoodie in the light green for myself and love it. I put it on every morning! I loved it so much that I ordered one for my sister for her birthday and 4 in the kid sizes. One for my son and 3 for gifts to the nieces and nephews. My one nephew hasn't taken his off since he opened it Christmas morning. My sister said that he is going to rub a hole in the shoulder because he can't stop rubbing his cheek on the soft hoodie lining. Since I had the extra $10 off coupon, I am going to order myself another in the Blue. (since my family is tired of seeing me in the green!) A must have! Order a size up. I am a 14 and ordered an xl. I also order up in the kid sizes too!
