After reading what felt like all 200+ reviews I was thoroughly confused on size. I tried both my regular size, M and a L. The M fit fine everywhere except sleeve length which was very short on me. I'm 5'8" with long arms so if you don't have a sleeve length issue and you're not really busty you should do fine in your regular size. I bought the L in this to get the sleeve length I required, but it is super roomy. I would have been happier in the cut of the M but the sleeves weren't doable for me.
This is, without a doubt, the most luxurious hooded sweatshirt you can imagine. It is so soft and cozy inside and out. I have always been a true Women's Medium in LL Bean tops, shirts, and sweaters. I ordered this hoodie in the Large, and it fits perfectly. I'm glad I went with the larger size up, as a Medium would have been a bit snug. I recommend ordering up a size. This is the first time I've written a review on the LL Bean website. I hope LL Bean will carry this product forever. I want to get more colors down the road.
This hoodie looks nice and is super cozy. It indeed does run small in the middle area which I like because it doesn't look baggy. After reading the reviews I ordered a large and am glad I did. I'm usually wear a medium in everything and larges usually look baggy on me. Not with this great little jacket though. Love it!
