When I saw this item on-line, I thought it would be a great idea for those cooler Fall days when you don't need a coat but need something more than just a light sweater. I ordered the ivory color and the color is great but the fit is disappointing. It is very fitted so I ordered it the next size up and it was still too small. The other problem I have with this is that the sleeves are too long. I am a size petite and I can usually make do with regular sizing but these sleeves are just way too long. Rolling the sleeves up destroys the look of the piece. Plus, the material in the sleeves themselves makes it very difficult to put it on if you want to wear it over a light long sleeve shirt. I'm sure it's a fine purchase if you won't be wearing anything much underneath it. By the way, I did try it on without a shirt and it was still way too fitted. Anyway, I am an avid LLBean purchaser but this purchase just didn't work for me and therefore I can't recommend it to anyone else.
This was the most amazing jacket I have ever purchased. It is warm, soft, and amazingly comfy. I can't stop stroking the fur on the inside! I had no idea it would be that comfortable when I ordered it. I am thrilled to pieces over this jacket!
Although I liked the idea of this item, I was very surprised that the fleece was not what I'm used to, but rather more fur-like. Also, I had ordered an XL, the largest size available, but found it to be rather tight fitting. This is a major disappointment to me, but I'm keeping it nevertheless and hoping that it doesn't shrink during washing. I plan to air dry it, and put it in the dryer after thoroughly dry in an effort to minimize shrinkage. It might help if this item were available in Women's sizes which are a bit larger than Misses sizes.
