This sweatshirt is nothing short of perfect! I purchased a Chocolate Brown one about a month ago and have been living in it. I just received a second one today (in Cream)! The one I've had for a month has washed beautifully already many times. This sweatshirt is very soft and cuddly - a must have for any wardrobe. Regarding the sizing, if you are used to wearing somewhat tailored clothing, then order this sweatshirt in the size you normally would. If you like things baggier, then order one size up. The only thing I'd like to see L.L. Bean do differently with this adult sweatshirt is to offer it styled much like the kid version - with the contrasting stitching for a little more pizzazz!
The hoodie is good, nice and warm for the body section, the sleeves are lined with something different. My arms are always what's cold so this is a little disappointing. I have a hunch with the price of oil this winter we could have used those arms lined with the fleece as well! Still all in all a good solid buy!
This jacket is super. After reading all the reviews I decided to order my size medium. Many ladies felt it was best to go up a size, I don't think so. The medium fit fine. I have this in the chocolate brown, indigo and soon I will have the antique pine. All beautiful colors, I liked that the indigo is nice and subtle in color. The jacket is very warm and comfortable to wear. I washed mine in cold water, dried it on low for 30 minutes then hung it up to finish drying. Great jacket LL Bean Thanks!!!!!
