This jacket is perfect for fall. The inside lining is like butter and a nice contrast in colors with the outside of the jacket. I ordered the cobalt blue a little worried it would be too dark and bright of a blue. It is PERFECT. It is like the color of blue eyes, or blue with the smallest amount of gray swirled in. The perfect blue for fall. I sized up , I'm a 10-12 and went for the large and it is perfect, but still not over sized. It is just form fitting enough, really attractive and as flattering as you can get with a jacket of this type. So if you like it really over sized I would maybe even go up two sizes.
After purchasing 5 of these jackets for my grandchildren I was thrilled when it became available for adults. I ordered myself one and was very disappointed with the fit. I agree with other reviews about the arm length. I have short arms and the jacket sleeves were way too short and tight. If this problem is rectified I would definetly re-order. As it now stand I have returned my jacket.
The lining is sooo soft (LL Bean needs to make blankets/pillow out of that stuff!) and the color (I got the aqua) is just INCREDIBLE. I will definitely wear this jacket three-seasons and as often as possible! The sizing does run small though. I LIKE tighter-fitting jackets and figured at a size 10, I could get a medium. It DID fit me, but just barely--I figured if I throw it in the dryer, it won't fit me; so I exchanged it for a Large and it fits much better. So if you're a size 10/12--the large is for you! Thanks LL Bean--I can't wait to wear this on a group outing and have all my friends ask, "Where'd you get THAT jacket?"
This hoodie is the softest jacket I have ever owned. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Looks great with everything, and is made very well. Ordered a little larger so could wear with sweater, and is just perfect. Thanks LL Bean. I plan to order another in a different color.
