This is a great comfy midweight sweatshirt - perfect for cool days over a t-shirt or thin longsleeve. It is definitely fitted and at 5'9" the sleeves are just a bit short but usually the case for me. I ordered my size and fits just right but if you want a more traditional sweatshirt fit over a heavier longsleeve then order a size up.
I wish that the sleeves of this Hoodie were just about 2 inches longer. My friend bought one and made me try it on. It was so soft and comfortable, but it didn't fit me. So I am envious of people that this product fits. I want one so much that I went into the men's section to find the corresponding product is no way near as soft or attractive. A men's XS fit me better, but I didn't buy it.
So, I told my mother to buy this hoodie. She now has 2. I've told all of my shorter friends to buy them. They are.
Aside for the overall length, I think that the product is true to size. I would have bought my normal size. My mother, who likes things baggy, has 2 different sizes. One's too big and the other (her actual size if she'd just accept it) is just right.
I received my hoodie yesterday and it is cozy and soft! I know some others mentioned that they were disappointed that the sleeves are not lined with fleece like fabric, but it is lined none the less, with soft cotton. It is a beautiful fit, great for the cottage!
This sweatshirt/jacket is wonderfully soft and cozy. For fit: true to size. Well made. Washed in cold, dried on low came out lovely. Did not shrink. I purchased the cream, but really want at least one more :)
