I appreciate the second layer of fabric on the arms, but perhaps a thin fleece layer would work better? I am finding that I'm not sure when to wear this, not warm enough for outdoors because my arms are too cold, but too warm for indoors.
It's very warm (I wore it for a short walk in 50 degree weather and was sweating) and seems like it will last for a long time. Both the shell and the lining are very soft.
But, there's a couple of issues.
I'm 5'5" tall and it's really too short. My lower back shows if I sit down and lean over, and my pants are not low-rise. Since I'll probably be wearing it in 30-40 degree weather, the exposed skin will freeze.
I bought the size I measure as. It's significantly smaller than the picture shows. It's definitely not a relaxed fit, and cannot be worn over anything thicker than a t-shirt.
It dries unevenly. The sleeves and pockets are lined in cotton. After the rest of the sweatshirt is dry, I need to turn it inside-out and run it through the dryer again. And even after two dryer cycles, the pocket linings (which are sandwiched in between two layers of fleece and do not turn inside out) are still not dry.
It would be perfect if it was looser and longer, had synthetic sleeve and pocket linings, and pockets that turned inside out.
Love the fleece lining - so soft and silky. I am glad there isn't any fleece lining in the sleeves. I think it would make the hoodie heavier/bulkier. I usually wear a medium, (size 10), but ordered the large as suggested. The large fits fine with room for a light weight shirt. The Cirrus blue is brighter than it looks online. Can hardly wait for the weather to get cold enough to wear it!
