I expected this sweatshirt to be lightweight with some fleece in the hood and collar area - but this is fully lined and so soft! It is much warmer than I had hoped for - and perfect school colors to wear on Fridays! What a deal for the sale price too!! I had ordered as a gift, but will keep this one and order another for the gift - maybe need more colors!
I almost didn't order this after reading the other reviews, but I'm glad I did. The fit is true to size. I do agree with another review regarding the sleeve lining. The knit lining fabric is difficult to pull over a long-sleeve top. But I like the color and softness, so I will keep the hoodie.
This is a cozy, warm, soft sweatshirt/jacket. It's a little baggy at the bottom, but not enough that I'm going to send it back (and I am fairly thin, especially through the hips). The hood fits nicely; it doesn't have a drawstring, but it really doesn't need one. And it's nice looking so it can be worn when the thrown-on-the-floor gray "thing" you usually grab won't quite work.
Soft brushed-feel cotton on the outside and comfortable lining that's plush-smooth on the inside. I like that the sleeves are lined with a plain cotton to avoid the bulky-look, though it stays really warm even in wind. My only complaint is that for taller women, (like me) the sleeves and length could be cut longer. As it is, they just come to the hinge on my wrist, and this can look a bit nerdy. Especially when reaching up or grabbing for things!! The body cut is nice though, fitted enough without being tight and clingy or too boxy too. Just right. Even the zipper is smooth to work and over all the quality is heavy feeling, and cozy. LLbean, just give us an inch more in sleeve and length, that's all I'm asking!!! These short-waisted-barely-fitting-sleeve-styles are so outdated!!
