These boots looked great. And I really wanted something (without laces) that I could slip on and off relatively quickly. So, they appealed to me right away. I received them promptly, and they felt ok when I put them on. But, then I started walking in them. And I ended up with chafing marks on my shins and calves. They are tight around that area of the leg and very loose around the foot and sole itself. And I have wide feet! They were really clunky. My socks would not stay up when I wore them. I returned them.
I ordered these boots and was worried what they would look like on my big feet. To my surprise, my feet looked small although these are a chunky type of boot. I ordered the black/carbon and they are really very nice. They are a little bit stiff but there is some give and I am sure that they will loosen up the more I use them. The zip front is so easy that I don't dread putting the boots on because of laces.
This is a beautiful looking boot, and very lightweight. I loved the zip up front. Unfortunately once I put it on I felt like I was walking in ski boots - they did not have much give in the heel and therefore, movement in the ankle area was very limited.
