I'm usually very picky about shoes. I don't like clunky or too flat, but these are just right. I'm usually a brown shoe gal, but the charcoal color is beautiful. They are even better in person! I am impressed how nice and comfortable (fleece lined!) they are for the price. Definte two thumbs up!
Being a teacher, I'm always looking for comfortable, stylish shoes. These hit the mark big-time! The shoes are true to size, even with a lightweight sock. My students commented on how "cool" my shoes were. Finally, I'm popular in middle school!
I fell in love with these the second I saw them in the catalogue. The hard part was choosing a color! I went with the gray, and couldn't be happier with them. They will be my go-to shoes with skirts and pants this fall. These mary janes do run slightly small. I plan on wearing them barefoot, so I ordered my actual size, which is perfect. If you plan to wear socks, order up a 1/2 size. They will be easy to dress up or down, and they feel like my favorite slippers!
These are the first shoes I have ever bought online. I've been buying other clothing online for many years, but never shoes. I was concerned that the fit wouldn't be right. After all, at shoe shops there's always such a fuss and bother about fitting. I know that if my L.L.Bean shoes didn't fit, it's easy to return them, but I'd lose the shipping costs and, well, phooey ... BUT, finally I took the plunge and have just received these Mary Janes from L.L.Bean. They fit perfectly, look great and are excellent value for money. So, now I'm a convert. Now I'll be confident about buying my shoes online, particularly at L.L.Bean.
