I've been looking for Mary Janes for awhile, and I'm so glad to have found these. They are some of the best shoes I've ever owned. They fit perfectly, and are extremely comfortable, cute, and warm. (I have poor circulation in my hands and feet, and these actually keep my feet quite toasty -- a very welcome relief.)
The best part about these shoes is how comfortable they are. I work retail, so I'm on my feet for 8+ hours per day, 5 days a week, and these have quickly become my everyday shoe. They are even more comfortable than my sneakers, and great for walking even on hard city sidewalks.
I also enjoy their versatility -- they look good with jeans, work pants, and my skirts. I own two pairs already and am going to purchase a third.
I've ordered clothing from L.L. Bean before but these are the first shoes I've bought from them, and they are a wonderful choice. I hope that L.L. Bean continues to offer these shoes (or ones similar in style and comfort) -- I'd love it if they would offer them in purple.
These are a nice combination of a shoe and a slipper! I wear them primarily as slippers in the house because I work from home. They are more supportive and comfortable than any other slippers. The inside is fuzzy and warm. They can be worn outdoors for a run to the mailbox, but don't' seem like all day out type of shoes. Maybe leave them at your work to change out of boots in winter. The fit is a bit roomy, so I can wear them with socks, which I prefer to do. I bought my usual size (7.5), but I also tried on a 7 which fit, but 7.5 was more comfy with socks. I got the red color- it is a nice change from the usual shoe colors. The elasticized mary jane strap is comfy over the foot and easy to slip into.
Very comfortable. Instantly one of my favorite pairs of shoes. I suffer from foot pain and have no problem with these shoes, too bad I live in the deep south and cannot wear them year long. Will be ordering more in different colors.
I just got these yeaterday, so I've only worn then in the house(pre break-in). They are so light and comfy. They fit perfectly. I need to keep my eye out for them to go on sale again so I can get a second pair :-)
