I tried them on and knew that (unfortunately) I would need to send them back. They hit me in an odd way across the arch. As I walked in them, they sort of "twisted". Perhaps I have an odd shaped foot. They were very cute, just not the super comfortable shoes I was hoping for based on the reviews.
Bought one pair in red for a very particular shoe wearer (my hip daughter) and they were a hit! Instantly comfortable, good support, jazzy color, true to size. Chose to buy another pair in grey, which is a nice charcoal shade. Please keep making these! Possibly add black to the color choices?
Bought these Mary Janes in the blue heather and love them. They look great with pants and skirts. I have a wider foot and they were very comfortable and true to size as well. I wear them with tights or medium weight socks without any tightness or problems. The sole is sturdy and has good traction. They look like a boiled wool, which is very attractive. My feet are warm and cozy whenever I wear them...I know my toes hope that I order additional pairs in other colors so that they can always enjoy the Javas!
