My husband knew I had my eye on these shoes as an all-winter, all-purpose shoe (out to the store, to church, a walk up to the coffee shop...).
He also knew that I wouldn't spend $44 on myself for a pair of shoes.
Solution: He bought the shoes for me, wrapped them up, and let me open them!
About the shoe: I can't find anything wrong. Even though I live in Texas, they are not too warm and have been appropriate for our mild winters. They are quite possibly one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, with an excellent arch support, and soft inner material. I wear them with a no-show "sock," which keeps everything more fresh. I got the gray color, as that color pretty much goes with everything.
I'm very pleased with the quality of the product, and because I know they will last a long time, I don't feel bad about how much my husband spent :)
The shoes were comfortable when I tried them on, but the elastic located on the strap isn't properly sewn.It rubs the foot everytime I take a step. The other shoe doesn't have this problem. I am going to send this pair back and see if another pair does the trick. As long as the elastic is sewn correctly, the shoes will be a great addition to my java slides.
I looked at these shoes for several months before I bought them. Now I have them, I don't know what I was waiting for. They are very comfortable and warm and look great with jeans, khakis and skirts. They seem to run just a tad bigger than true to size but it's not a problem with socks.
