I like the style and comfort of the Mary Jane shoes. The inner lining adds to the comfort. The additional feature of the rubber soles makes the shoes quite versatile. There is one rough spot where the strap attaches inside the shoe.
I read most of the LL Bean reviews and these shoes sounded great. But the strap was too tight over both arches, and I got blisters on one heel just from walking around the house in them. I haven't had blisters from new shoes for about 30 years!
Wow! What a great shoe..Just got them, and wore them around the house(too warm to wear to work yet) The size is right on..wear an 8.5 and they fit great. The color just as it appears on line...They really look good..cute, but really styling!! Perfect with pants,jeans or a skirt..I understand why they could be worn as a slipper..very easy on the feet....Can't wait to wear them to work..I'm on my feet alot of the day.Pharmacy! good support..Bean...again you've outdone yourself...and the price is right on or better than other simlar shoes....will be ordering other colors..
I just recieved my charcoal java maryjanes last Friday, the next day I wore them for 5 hours at the zoo and my feet felt great. They are really comfortable and go great with everything. My feet are pretty wide and these fit perfect, not tight in the toe area at all. Once these are worn out I will definitely purchase another pair!
