I bought this thinking it would be a summer shoe, but it is lined in a fleece like material which makes is very soft and comfortable to wear, but it is more suited for early spring or fall weather.
These shoes are great! They are very comfortable. I did find that one of my shoes was slightly bigger than the other, but one of the shoes ended up coming unstitched up top near the toe where the overlap is so I exchanged them for a new pair, now they are perfect again.
My feet are constantly cold, which is really bad news if you live in Maine. The moment I tried these shoes on, I knew I was in heaven. They look like shoes, feel like shoes, but they are warm and comfortable like slippers. They were my preferred footwear all winter and spring and I am still wearing them in June. The outer material does not do well in wet, muddy conditions, but then what shoe does? I bought a second pair just incase something should happen to the first, but I hope Beans carries these forever.
I LOVE these Mary Jane's! Oh my, these are wonderful, I love how comfy they are, and they seem to give a wholesome, classic look to my outfit.... and besides my belt, these "finish off my look". I wear these everywhere...coffee shop.. class.. work... they are one of my favorite shoes! I just cant get over how comfy and awesome they are! I bought the charcoal grey, and they are wonderfully versatile, love love love love them!
