I liked the look and feel of these shoes so much that I immediately cut and resewed the straps so that they would fit my narrow feet. The shoes would work much better if the straps were adjustable. Otherwise, they are soft, warm and very cute, especially with pants.
I love my Mary Jane shoes recently ordered from LL Bean. They are super comfortable and people notice them right away as something they like. I wish I could afford several pair!
Love these shoes. They go with everything--jeans, slacks, skirts, and they are so comfortable. I wear between 7 1/2 and 8, so, based on previous reviews, I bought the size 8--perfect fit.
I had high hopes for these shoes based on the other good reviews and the product description's claim that they wouldn't need breaking in. They were very cute, and I liked the fleecy lining, but the inside of the toe box was very stiff and rigid. It pressed against my toes very uncomfortably, as did the side seam over the little toe. I ordered my usual size; it's possible they would feel more comfortable in a larger size, but I think the toe box would still be a problem. LLBean, what happened to the advertised "soft felt"?
