I just got my new Town and Field boots and they are beautiful! I got the black leather and I think they're nice enough to wear with either jeans or a skirt or nice pants. They'll be nice for snow wear because the heels are lower and the soles are non-slip. I can easily wear a pair of warm socks or tights with them. The leather is soft but sturdy and they're beautifully made!
This is a very well made product. However, I found that the boot shaft was much too wide in the calf. The boots would like fine under boot cut or over skinny jeans but was much too wide to wear with a skirt.
