I totally love these boots, which are stylish and comfortable, easy to wear with everything. Even with no break-in period, these boots felt just right immediately and consistently provide an excellent fit. I've worn these boots in all types of settings, including while shoveling snow that's above my knees and while visiting the White House. These are marvelous boots.
I am thrilled to finally find a stylish boot that fits my wide feet, 9D, and the extra width in the calf fits my athletic legs. I put them on and new I didn't have to search any further. The heal is a nice size. My black leather boots did not have the white stitching so I'm happy with the all black boot.
I took out just one of the boots from the box today and thought "ugh"! So ugly and CHEAP looking! What's with the white stitching around the toe and the easy to see cream lining that stands out (in a bad way ) from the leather? Stiff and plastic-like. They look like rain boots, but for the price, those would be some expensive rain boots! Back they go!
I wore these boots for the first time today for several hours and they were super comfy! I have "picky" feet and have a hard time finding comfortable shoes - these are great and very true to size - a tad wide but nothing a medium in thickness sock won't help!
