I was surprised at the weight (actually the non-weight) of this coat....it is superlight. It is exactly what I was looking for in a raincoat. I live in Oregon where it rains a lot. This coat kept me dry in a wind & rain storm-and the hood stayed on! My hair didn't get wet - which is very important to me! Also, the coat has room for my layers of clothing..another important feature for me. Great raincoat - I highly recommend it!
This trail model rain coat is perfect for travel - very light weight and easy to wear or pack. It's warm over sweaters and has worked well even in cold weather driving to and from work. I purchased it in chocolate brown and can see myself buying a black one in the future.
I was thrilled when I saw the longer length Trail Model Rain Coat! I purchased the jacket and pants last year and they kept me warm and dry in all kinds of wet weather. I wanted the longer length for those times when I needed to be outside for a shorter length of time and the longer coat with my jeans would be fine. I love the light weight and roominess that allows me to layer underneath. The velcro cuffs allow for that and the velcro on the back of the hood is a super neat idea that allows me to adjust for a light or heavy rain or whether I have a cap or hat on underneath. Thanks for making such great rain protection in a longer length!
