Great little rain coat

Prospractical lightweight, good value for the money
I purchased a Large in green Lily Pond. Color was beautiful. It is a very light & thin material, so would take little space when packing. Like the pockets and especially the snap front storm flaps covering a full zipper, so no water can get in neck or around face when fully zipped up. Hood can be adjusted. I'm 5'1" so coat goes below knee which I like. Wore it on a cold day and it is wind proof. Haven't tried it on rainy day yet. I like the velcro sleeves as it was not offered in petite, so sleeves are long but with velcro, it does not matter. It is a straight fit, and since I am wide in mid-area & thighs, I have to unzip bottom to sit down... not very good if you have to sit down in the rain. It would be such a better fit and would be more practical for those with my body shape, if it was more an A-line fit. I can't wait for this "straight line fashion" to go out of style. The zipper is very frustrating, but I'm getting better at it... not a good zipper though. Because the material is so thin, I wish they had reinforced the material for the snaps where it is installed on only one layer of material. I'm concerned the material will rip if I pull on too strong when opening the snap.

Great, versatile raincoat
PostedJanuary 28, 2011
Bought this last year in green. It is a very versatile jacket. This length is especially useful here in rainy Vancouver...it provides coverage down to the knees so, if it is drizzly rain, your pants stay dry (if it is a downpour, you will be wearing rain boots!). With a sweater or fleece underneath, it can take you down to the low-mid 40's (F), but is comfortable in summer too. I love the wrist tabs, that make it really snug on my wrists. The hood is well-designed too.

Proswell made and light
I can't wait for the weather to get warmer so I can put away the heavy coats and wear this rain coat to walk the dog. The material is light and smooth and the zipper is no problem at all. I got it on sale, had my eye out for this coat for a while and am very happy to finally own it. Come-on rain and wind, I'm ready!
