Not really a rain coat. On my usual 2 mile morning walk I found this coat to be perfect for a drizzle or a light sprinkle. A steady rain found me wet across the shoulder seams about halfway through my walk. I would hate to have to rely on this coat in a downpour. I'm going to have to purchase a different coat for walking on rainy days.

If anybody from the Texas area is searching for a raincoat that would adapt nicely to our particular wet weather needs... Then THIS coat would be an excellent choice! It is NOT as bulky, heavy or cumbersome as many I've seen. Instead, it is a light,highly functional, COMFOTABLE rain coat that is IDEAL for our "warm winters"!
PERFECT for travel! Lightweight, easy to pack and provides great coverage. The price was a little more than I wanted to spend, but the style is so functional and classic that I plan to get many years of wear out of it.
I have just worn the coat once, but think it will be awesome. It kept me dry during a rainy soccer game and I will use it in Europe this fall. I love that it is so light and easy to pack.
