This happens to be a very light weight rain coat that is comfortable to wear. The length helps keep the front of your slacks dry compared to the other shorter rain jackets. The newer fabric was a bit to get used to....it feels of less quality, but believe me it's VERY durable. I chose black thinking it was going to be to dark....but the color is a soft black and not a glossy black and it goes with everything. The hood can be adjusted in the back as well as the sides. I'm 5' 2" and feel the length isn't to long on me, although the sleeves are longer than I like. They can be adjusted with the velcro closures. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.
Folds up compactly so will be great for travel. The lightweight fabric is great for the summer showers. While the chest size is generous to allow layering I feel that the sleeves are a bit snug and will probably be limited to a fleece vest underneath instead of a nice thick cardigan sweater.

This is a good coat, but runs tight though the hips. I had to return it for a larger size, as did my husband. We bought these to wear during our boys' cross country meets.
