It arrived on a rainy afternoon, quite appropriate. Love the lightweight--easy to take anywhere. The misses' XL fit was true to size with enough room for layering with a heavy sweater if needed. Also found I could layer it over my sweater coat and it will not peek out.
The large mesh pockets easily hold wallet and phone and zip shut for no worries--and packet of travel tissues too.
It will be going with me each time the skies look threatening. Love it!
Hard to find a coat like this one. Thanks LL Beans. I bought it after reading most reviews. Size Small fits me perfectly, for the most part. I am a size 4-6 pettie, 5'4" & 130lbs. I loved it right after receiving it. Light weight and easy to fold & can be tucked away easily for travel. not as noisy as some reviews described. three problems for me: 1)I had to struggle with the zipper.2) sleeves could be a little longer - my jacket sleeves got socking wet because the raincoat won't cover them or allow me to tuck them in. The sleeves should be longer or slightly roomier. 3)Color blue looked too casual to wear for my work. I am not sure if I should exchange it. Size M could be too baggy for me. Despite the problems I still like it.
Just as described. I'm waiting for a real downpour to see how it does. I wish it came in petite sizes but I needed a raincoat & this was the best one I could find. The sleeves & length are a little long for me but I'll deal with it.
Great raincoat. My wife and I each had one for our Alaska trip and we both could not be happier. Plenty of pockets. A velcro strap to adjust the hood. It was plenty roomy for my hoody underneath and, of course, water proof and wind proof.
