I finally got to wear this raincoat today in a spring snow storm where the snow was blowing and very wet. It is very lightweight, comfortable and will be good for camping and travel. I'm very glad I purchased this item
Unfortunately, I had to return this jacket because it was too long. It went down to my knees and looked ridiculous. I wish it was available in a petite length.
I have only had this coat about three weeks and it has not rained that much, of course! However I have worn it once in a respectable downpour, and it really did the job. The hood protects your head and can be cinched tighter, if needed. I bought the coat with the longer length and it kept everything dry above the calves! It was true to size for me. I really like that is is so lightweight. I'll just layer underneath with a sweater if it is cool. I bet it is going to be easy to pack. The pockets are very accessible, and the coat both zips and velcros. I purchased the raspberry color, and it is beautiful! I think it is a very slimming and fashionable raincoat and I wish it would rain more!
