I thought our rainy season was over but alas a rogue storm developed after I received my rain coat. I was afraid it wouldn't keep me warm because it's very thin. However, I was pleased to find that it kept me dry, warm and the velcro flap over the zipper really was a quality feature (it further kept the water out when I took the coat off). A good choice!
I ordered this coat to use at my Oregon coast home, and am very pleased with it. I usually wear a medium, but ordered the large because I wanted to layer it over warm clothing in the colder months, and I really like the fit. Also, the long length is great for staying dry and protected from the wind ( I am 5'8 and it is long enough for me). The hood is nice and large and I also really like the deep pockets, great for collecting shells as I walk on the beach! Everything I buy from LL Bean has been of very high quality, and this is no exception. It is exactly what I was looking for. I got the darker blue color which is just how it looked on-line. I would very much recommend this coat for rain and wind protection.
