I thought this coat was just as it had been described by the catalogue. I ordered a bright yellow, and love it. It is light and airy, and plenty of room to wear a heavy or light sweater, so it's great for layering. Not meant to be worn for cold weather, which I didn't intend on in the first place. For a spring shower, or just a cover up, it's great, and I would recommend it to anyone. The double zipper posed no problem after studying the operation of it. This just gave it a classier look.
The raincoat arrived just in time to wear in the latest and heaviest rain on our part of the California coast. It meant I could go for my morning walk and not get wet. I love the pockets--especially the inner ones that kept my cell phone dry. Maybe I should have ordered the next size up to better accommodate my heavy jacket but then most of our rains don't call for heavy jackets underneath...
