When I took the jacket out of the package I was surprise how light weight the jacket was, I knew it would not be warm at all, so I just put it back in the package and return it, It felt like a wind breaker not a jacket that would keep you warm at all.
Concern: sizing. I had previously purchased the same coat in its jacket length. When ordering this longer one, I ordered the same size, however the fit is snugger than the shorter jacket. Wish I had exchanged it for a larger size. Find it very good as a rainy and windy day coat of protection. Light weight and easy to pack.
I live in Wisconsin and plan on putting this coat OVER my winter coat when it is snowing wet and heavy. I have used it once already and it did the job. I am also planning a trip to WET Seattle and this will be easy to pack. I weigh about 145 lbs, 5" 7" size 8 or 10 so I bought a medium but returned it for a large. The medium was short in the sleeves (I have long limbs) and was tight in the hips even when worn by itself. My only complaint is how much noise the material makes but it's a small trade-off for staying dry. I also wish it would be about 3 inches longer.
