I had been looking for a couple of months for just the right raincoat. I found it in this fabulous Bean jacket! It is light and loose and long enough to cover my clothes! I am glad I waited and found this one!
I bought this coat to take on a 6 week trip to Scotland. During those 6 weeks we traveled all around England and Scotland. I wore this coat many times in the city and all through the country side. I was so pleased with the results. I stayed very dry through all the U.K. drizzles and showers. When I didn't need it, I literally wadded it up and stuck in down in my messenger bag. It was lightweight, sturdy and very easy to use. The hood and sleeve adjustments worked great because I have a small frame and this let me adjust the closures to fit me perfectly.
The last full length rain coat I owned (not LL Bean) was slightly heavier than this one, although not breathable. This coat is comfortable and sizing seems to be right (I'm size 4 in most brands, and Small fits fine here). The pea green is very cheerful.
