My teenage daughter chose this raincoat in the lily pad color. A few days after its arrival, our area received one month's worth of rain in one day. This coat kept her dry without becoming sweaty, very important to a teenage girl.
I had one before that I purchased many years ago & lasted till this year. I don't wear a rain coat often, but when I did, this one was just great--a little warmth & looked good, packed well.
I was debating whether or not to get a Goretex raincoat but decided, based on other reviews, to buy this one instead. This is a great coat for the price! It's definitely waterproof and lightweight for travel, and the length is awesome. I'm 5'7" and it reaches my knees. It's pretty breathable too, although not perfect. But, then again, neither was my friend's Goretex one at twice the price. I definitely recommend this coat.
I like the overall appearance of this raincoat that does a wonderful job of keeping me dry. However, I was disappointed with the fabric because it is very thin. For the price, I would have been happier with it if it had more features, such as interior pockets, a removable hood, and a lightweight lining.
