I ordered this,couldn't wait until it arrived. It is awesome!It is lighweight,roomy but not huge,just perfect.I live in Florida,where it has been raining and very hot and humid and this jacket is not hot,it is very comfortable to wear. I could not be happier,I searched all the stores here in Tampa Bay and they really have nothing to offer except maybe a poncho.I used to live up north and used LL Bean all the time and I am so glad I checked their website. My daughter attends Florida State University and I am sending her one and I am sure her friends will folllow.This is a great purchase!
I have the trail model coat (colbalt) and the jacket (soft teal) and love them both. Very light weight. Easily layered. Perfect for casual running around, doing errands, walking the dog. Truly waterproof. Specially like ease of the velcro closures over the zipper. I have the jacket in a medium and the coat in a small, but they both seem to fit the same. Not sure about the size control.
In the torrential rains we get here, this jacket performs wonderfully for my daily early a.m. walks. It is truly waterproof. The zipper works well, as does the velcro, and the hood provides excellent coverage without feeling restrictive. Color nice, not too bright in the soft teal. The fit is good: I am slender, about 120 lb and 5'5".
Just what I was looking for. Great length, light weight, waterproof and the hood stays on without being tight. It has come in handy with the constant deluge of rain we have had in the Northeast lately.
