Living on the U.S. Gulf Coast I needed something that would help me fend off frequent downpours but would not compound the extreme heat and humidity problems here. This coat is perfect. It weighs hardly anything, it comes down to the knee, and the hood provides complete head coverage. It works in light showers or heay rain---and it looks good while doing it. I also love all the pockets.
I bought this coat recently in preparation for a trip to Maine. The fit is excellent, and this coat really keeps you dry in an ocean storm. Its perfect for walking on the beach but still looks nice enough to wear to dinner on those chilly nights. I'm planning on purchasing this coat in another color...or two.
I love the Trail model rain coat! I bought it as a gift for my aunt-which she was absolutely thrilled about! I wanted to buy it in medium but it was sold out in the brown so I went with the small which which fit fine but I wanted it a little roomy so she can wear it with her llbean fleece jacket underneath for when it's a bit chilly. I loved it so much that I'm going to order one for myself but I'm debating which color to get....maybe I'll get two!
