What a great find!!! I love the feel, and the length of this raincoat. I know this raincoat will be very useful while traveling to Washington State and Oregon with all the rain in that part of the country. This raincoat is not heavy or stiff. It's so breathable, lightweight and has a wonderful feel next to your skin. The velcro around the wrist sleeves is especially nice. You won't be disappointed buying this one.
I was wary about the claim that the coat would keep out the rain without making me sweat. It works, though! Worth every cent. I may buy another one in another color and plan to gift my daughters with this great light-weight rain coat.
THIS IS A VERY WELL MADE COAT. IT ALSO PACKS QUITE SMALL FOR TRAVELLING. AND CERTAINLY ENDURES THE BRITISH WEATHER WITH THE SEAMS BEING SEALED AND A GENEROUS SIZE HOOD FOR ACCOMODATING LONG HAIR. IT IS A GOOD LENGTH AND KEEPS YOUR THIGHS VERY DRY.
I recently purchased the Trail Model Rain Coat at Bean's South Windsor, CT store. No sooner was it delivered that I needed it...April showers in the northeast! I have to say the coat fits extremely well while being roomy enough for sweatshirt underneath. It's very lightweight and should be easy to fold or roll up for travel and backpacks. Also, unlike many "slickers", I found that I didn't get that clammy feeling when wearing it since the fabric allows air circulation. I also like that the coat is long enough to keep me dry from the knees up...perfect for when it rains at baseball and football games. I would mention a "con" if I thought there was one. I highly recommend the Trail Model Rain Coat!
