I love, love, love, love, LOVE my new trail model raincoat!
It fits well, but is roomy enough to wear a sweater or blazer underneath for cool spring weather, light weight so it won't be too hot & sticky during summer months.
I got the long model so it covers to the knee. Good for hard, windy rains and for spectator sports. The hood stays put and the two-way zipper is appreciated for driving as well as for walking ease.
Wore it for the first time to a baseball game for which rain was forecast - I was prepared and comfortable all night!
This is the coat I have been looking for perfect for those heavy spring/summer/fall storms. Keeps me dry and being a nanny of 5 children you can get very wet not anymore.
I needed something waterproof that would keep me warm on our many cold wet days in spring and fall. I was attracted to this particular model because it was longer and it had the hood. It turned out to be the perfect length and it fits true to size - I just don't like the fabric. It's very crinkly and since it's not really lined, it kind of feels like plastic/vinyl. Gotta send this one back...
