I like the look of this jacket but was disappointed by the fit. It runs slender, which is ok - but the narrow sleeves combined with the clingy cloth make it hard to put on over something long-sleeved without the sleeves bunching up as you put on the jacket.
I read reviews before ordering this jacket and ordered the size XL accordingly. Normally I wear a M to L, but was concerned about the size accomodating extra layers. I tried it on and it is PERFECT for wearing over a sweater. The mountain red color is a rich fire engine red and I love it!! The hood is another reason I wanted it and it fits just right. The sleeves were a good length which is usually an issue for me (long arms) which is another reason I ordered a size + up. All in all it was a good choice.

Today, the puppy took off, and I had to do a running tackle on an asphalt driveway. I skinned my knees, and my elbow, but my jacket was unscathed. So were my LL Bean jeans.

I love this fleece! It is great for these chilly late winter/spring days. It blocks the wind very well, is warm and also keeps you dry in a sudden spring shower. The hood fits well and looks nice - keeping you much warmer on a windy day. Packs well for travel and does the job of a jacket and rain jacket.
