I was looking for a thinner, less bulky fleece for active travel and this is it. It's flat, not fuzzy like my others. Water repellent with hood so I don't need to take a rain jacket along, too. I ordered both S and M since the comments suggested I might need larger than my usual size. I did. It runs narrow in the shoulders and across the chest, and I'm not a big person.
I've worn this through the fall and all winter. I use it when I go to the gym and thought at first it wouldn't be warm enough, but it's been great. And lightweight enough for after the gym when I've worked up a sweat. It does run a bit small but I love the way it fits; quite flattering. I'm sure it will be a staple of my wardrobe well into spring. The water resistance was a nice feature I hadn't anticipated.

I bought this fleece because I needed something thin to be able to layer under my heavier weight jacket for those frigid days. This does the trick. It keeps me warm and dry on those sleeting days while walking the dog. I bought one size larger to accomodate more light layering underneath just in case...
Even with an extra large size, when zipped all the way up the jacket feels too tight at the neck. Also I dislike the pockets because the outside pockets are attached to the inside pockets making it impossible to use both inside and outside pockets at the same time. This jacket repells light rain, is wind proof and warm but needs layering for very cold nights.
