This jacket really blocks the wind, whereas some fleece feels like cheesecloth. That makes it nice and warm. Some people might say too warm, but not me! Another real plus are the pockets. The two interior mesh pockets are big enough for wallet and phone. The exterior pockets can be zipped closed. It is exactly what I'd wanted.

This jacket seems a bit stiff out of the pkg but soon is soft and comfortable. It really fits the bill as an in-between jacket and I love the hood. It does block the wind so it is comfortable in colder weather but is lighter weight so it is easy to wear. Glad I bought it. Will be great for travel.
I live in the San Francisco bay area where there are many microclimates within a small area. This jacket is great for me because it is lightweight yet keeps me comfortable in both warm in cool weather without a lot of bulk. It's also water resistant and hooded so the morning fog does not get me soaked. Now if they would only make ones for my Boston Terriers!
