I have other wind challenger fleece products, and this is a bit lighter, but seems just as warm. I got a size larger than usual (XL), because of other reviews, and it's just right.
Haven't worn this jacket out yet but I'm pleased with it so far. I think it will be very good in early spring and fall as far as warmth. It's lightweight and attractive. My only issue was that it does run small. I ordered a medium, my normal size, but that was very tight through the shoulders and arms. I had to exchange it for a large, which isn't as fitted and not quite as attractive on me.
After much searching I found this jacket where I should have looked first - LL Bean! I wanted something light but warm enough for New Jersey winters (usually mid 20's to high 30's), wind resistant, and somewhat waterproof. My jacket has all those qualities and is comfortable in the car as well as on my winter walks. It looks good too - not bulky. I love it! I usually wear a large in turtlenecks, etc. (size 12 fairly busty) but got an X-large in this to accommodate winter sweaters.
