didn't like the hood design bec. once you let the hood fall back, the front end stands up w/c doesn't look nice so have to returned it. like the texture & comfort it gives. hope you'll make the regular hood style on this jacket.
A great warm but lightweight, breathable fleece. I purchased for dog walking and outdoor activities on chilly or windy days until I need to put on a heavy winter coat. But I like it so much I might just add a layer and wear it all winter! I really love this fleece especially with the hood, which fits nicely and helps keep more heat inside. The styling and colors offerings for this product are more updated so I can walk the dogs and then do a few errands and look good doing both. I have an old Bean Windbloc fleece from @ 12 years ago which I still use but it is much bulkier and stiffer than the Windchallenger fleece. The new fleece seems to kep you almost as warm, but without the bulk, more softness and better styling and breathability. This is the best fleece I have bought in years!
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
Got the blue one yesterday. With the hood up and under my bike helmet, and using it as a midlayer for insulation under my bike jacket, in low 30's and cloudy, I was toasty warm on my Trikke Pon-e. Completely windproof, definitely NOT plasticy like that other review says. Nice fleece feel. Arm length BARELY adaquate...would have liked another inch or so but are wristlength. Zips up high; nicely fitting hood. Comfy around the house as a go to sweater. Happy with my purchase.
